As many of you will be well aware, Kernow is in dire need of a Space Port. There has been no space programme at all in Cornwall, since the 1960s Cornish moon landings. It's vital we secure the funding needed to progress further, especially if Cornwall is going to become independent from the rest of the UK.

 

Update - Latest News - The National Trust has proposed that its Lizard Point is used as a possible location for launching into outer space:

Cornwall Council have recommended various sites around Truro as being suitable for a limited space tourism venture. In partnerships with various local shops it hopes its bid to be one of the best in Kernow. A council spokesman Dan said "We want everything to be built in Truro & we believe we have the infrastructure to support such a venture. This would bring in a lot more wealth & unlimited well paid jobs into the region, plus we get loads of free cash from Europe." Later that day Dan resigned.

Forget Boris Island, Helford Passage and Falmouth Estuary have been highlighted as being perfect for missions to the moon. Cornwall Space Agency have suggested that man-made islands could be made out of digging up the surrounding hills. "It makes perfect sense" said Reginald Branson Pickle chief engineer of the CSA.

Porthemmet Beach Is Obviously a Controversial Choice, due to it being an Area of Outstanding Beauty. Locals Have Also Expressed Concern That Its Resident Puffin Population Could Be Sucked into the Spaceships Turbines. Care Would Also Have to be Taken not to ANNOY the Naturists who Often Visit This Unspoilt Paradise.
